Responsible for designing and implementing Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems with a focus on quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness within a collaborative team setting.

• Lead the design process for Plumbing systems and Fire protection systems, encompassing concept design, schematic design, design development, and detailed construction documentation such as technical specifications, BOQ, schedules, and drawings.
• Designing comprehensive plumbing distribution systems that adhere to current legislation, codes of practice, and client specifications across diverse building types.
• Independently performing plumbing calculations and design layouts according to project requirements.
• Communicating regularly with clients and taking on design responsibilities for Industrial, manufacturing, commercial, residential, retail, laboratories, and hospitals buildings.
• Understanding local codes and standards of project locations and utilizing latest leading industry software’s.
• Assisting the team to prepare plumbing and fire protection design documentation and calculation sheets.
• Helping subordinates/junior engineers with plumbing and fire protection design modelling using Revit, AutoCAD.
• Taking on a leadership role with the potential of growing a team reporting to them.

Experience/Key Skills:

• Experience in designing water supply, sewerage, and drainage systems, including necessary calculations.
• Experience in designing comprehensive underground sewerage and storm water system, sizing, and selection of locations for STP and water tanks. Creating details drawing layout for internal and external water and drainage systems.
• Experience in fire protection systems design of sprinklers, external and internal hydrant system, fire pump and tank systems design, hydraulic calculations.
• Experience in working on Revit/AutoCAD to prepare design layouts.
• Experience in coordinating design model with other disciplines like, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural using Navis Software.
• Experience in successfully managing client communication.
• Experience in Studying Architect Drawing & Details

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in designing Plumbing and Fire protection systems for various building types.
