The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
• Lead and support the design of electrical systems including medium and low-voltage substations, power distribution, lighting, and grounding.
• Develop detailed design drawings and construction documents using Revit in accordance with project standards.
• Perform electrical calculations including load analysis, short circuit, arc flash, and coordination studies using tools like SKM or ETAP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, structural, architectural, and civil disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE and other applicable codes and standards.
• Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and construction support activities such as RFI responses and submittal reviews.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
What will you bring?
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for large, complex industrial or manufacturing projects.
• Proficiency in Revit for electrical design is required.
• Experience with SKM, ETAP, AutoCAD, and Microsoft office suite.
• Strong understanding of U.S. electrical codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Should be flexible to work in the evening hours to maintain communication with the USA stakeholders.
Preferred experience:
• Experience with Automative, Battery Manufacturing, FMCG, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing facilities.
• Experience with data center design is a plus.
• Prior experience in a consulting engineering environment.
