Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering assignments using established methods, procedures, and industry standards while developing professional knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Apply engineering principles and knowledge of building systems, materials, and mechanical design practices to project assignments.
  • Develop HVAC, piping, and plumbing system designs for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.
  • Perform HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, static pressure calculations, pump sizing calculations, and pipe sizing calculations using industry-standard methodologies.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design documents, and specifications.
  • Support the design and analysis of chilled water, hot water, domestic water, compressed air, and other mechanical utility systems.
  • Develop and review mechanical designs using Revit (Intermediate proficiency required) and AutoCAD to produce coordinated construction documents.
  • Assist in interdisciplinary coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, and process engineering teams.
  • Support piping stress analysis activities; exposure to PipeStress software is preferred.
  • Perform hydraulic calculations and system modeling using Pipe-Flo software (preferred).
  • Participate in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis and airflow studies to support design optimization (preferred).
  • Interpret engineering concepts and incorporate them into detailed design and construction drawings.
  • Develop a working knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Work under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers while progressively assuming greater responsibility based on performance.
  • Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction support activities as required.

Work timings– Morning 10.00am to 2.00pm IST and evening 08.00pm to 12:00am IST.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1–5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and piping system design.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Revit MEP.
  • Experience in HVAC load calculations, pump sizing, duct sizing, and pipe sizing calculations.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical building codes and standards.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work US hours of operation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Pipe-Flo software will be a plus.
  • Exposure to PipeStress analysis tools will be a plus.
  • Experience performing or supporting CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) studies will be a plus.
  • Experience working on US-based engineering projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
