Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

  • Supports daily operations of the ERP system, including user support, configuration assistance, and issue resolution.
  • Assists with data validation, data integrity, and master data maintenance across ERP modules.
  • Generates reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support business operations, financial reporting, project tracking, and resource planning.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshoots system issues, documents findings, and escalates complex issues as needed.
  • Creates training materials, user guides, and delivers end-user training.
  • Supports testing activities during upgrades, enhancements, patches, and new feature deployments.
  • Collaborates with Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations, IT, and Project teams to gather requirements and improve business processes.
  • Maintains documentation, workflows, procedures, and system configuration records.
  • Supports data migration, cleanup, conversion, and validation activities.
  • Monitors system performance, user activity, and data quality metrics.
  • Supports ERP integrations with related business systems.
  • Participates in ERP implementation, upgrade, migration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supports change management, communications, training, and user adoption activities.
  • Performs quality assurance and compliance checks.
  • Facilitates ERP-related financial process improvements and reporting initiatives.
  • Operates with a high degree of autonomy, exercising sound judgment and independent decision-making to support US-based leadership effectively across significant time zone differences.
  • Provides governance for security, compliance, controls, reporting, and data management.

Note:

This position is a permanent full-time remote role for US shifts, specifically from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of ERP administration, implementation, optimization, or financial systems experience.
  • Deep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Experience leading ERP upgrades, migrations, implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, FAR compliance, audit trails, segregation of duties, security roles, and internal controls.
  • Experience with master data governance, reporting validation, integrations, and data quality controls.
  • Direct Deltek Vantagepoint experience is not required; equivalent mid-to-enterprise ERP platform experience required (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite). A demonstrated ability to master new ERP systems independently and quickly is essential.
  • Proven ability to self-direct learning, build expertise on new platforms without hands-on supervision, and develop functional documentation to support a globally distributed team.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills. Advanced in Excel.
  • Skilled in asynchronous communication practices; able to structure written updates, escalations, and questions clearly so international stakeholders can respond efficiently across time zones.
  • Comfortable managing a direct working relationship with executive and senior finance stakeholders, including the CFO and financial controllers.
