Responsibilities

 

The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
  • Support global engineering and project management teams as a Structural Designer on assigned projects.
  • Develop structural drawings and construction documents under the direction of senior designers and engineers.
  • Create and modify steel and concrete structural models and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit Structure following established company standards and procedures.
  • Gather, review, and apply design information from sketches, markups, calculations, specifications, and other project documentation to prepare accurate drawings and models.
  • Perform drafting and modeling tasks while ensuring dimensional accuracy and coordination with other disciplines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary design coordination and assist in resolving model and drawing clashes.
  • Support project teams in maintaining drawing quality, document control, and adherence to project schedules.
  • May be required to visit project sites to verify existing conditions and collect field information as needed.

Work timings:

8 hours (8am to 12noon and 8.00 pm to 12 midnight to overlap with USA teams).

 

Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

  • Full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Minimum of 6 to 9 years of experience in structural drafting and modeling of steel and concrete structures using AutoCAD and Revit Structure.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit Structure for preparing structural drawings and 3D models.
  • Experience working on Revit models at LOD 300 level and producing construction documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Revit family creation, sheet setup, and model coordination.
  • Understanding of structural design documentation standards, drawing production workflows, and BIM best practices.
  • Ability to interpret engineering sketches, design markups, and project specifications with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Effective English communication skills and the ability to coordinate with structural engineers and other design disciplines.
  • Must be flexible to work during evening hours to maintain communication with USA-based teams.
  • Experience in industrial, high-tech, battery manufacturing, semiconductor, or similar facilities projects is preferred.
